Flea Carnival @ Spa Boutique, 281007
Apologies for the recent lack of updates. Real-life matters beckoned and I had to answer. Hopefully, I will be able to attend some of the events that are posted on Fashion is Spinach and Fashion Nation. That said, many thanks to L. for being a good friend and making the effort to attend the recent flea at Spa Boutique for TCP. The following photos and commentary are by L.. Enjoy!
I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought the flea signage was creatively mounted :p
The flea carnival was set in a very quaint garden-resort setting with beautiful lil huts in the midst of vegetation that flanked a bustling Orchard Road. The atmosphere was tranquil and almost zen, if one ignored the bargain capitalism that quietly hummed in the background.
A hum, because inspite of the stalls selling pretty cool merchandise, there was a thin crowd that milled around. Nevermind though, because that means more bargains for me!
I always say; the other draw of a good flea is the good people. Every one I've been to has greeted me with gorgeous people with equally gorgeous personalities. Thanks everybody for being such a sport, despite the dampness from the heavy downpour.
Always nice to see people comfortable. :D

Who doesn't love pringles?

Say "Hello!" to Dottie and Stephie from Fashion Nation! I love their shoes.

Funny flea-goers doing what they do best - bargain, chatter, and do the let's-see-if-this-fits boogie routine. The lady in white was selling that lovely song&kelly top for only $20 :O!
