While browsing Kino's design section, I found Rebecca tucked snugly in a corner. Which I found rather charming. Upon discovering that we were both victims of the conservative corporate fashion culture, we launched into a conversation that involved a Marni skirt (made of wire mesh, green fabric and pleats), only full-length pants rules and scandalised colleagues.

I am still waiting for the day I can wear breeches to work.

In my rush to get out of the house, I forgot to grab my notebook used for scribbling information. So for this post, you get 3 randomly remembered facts and/or snippets of conversation instead of the usual information.

- I wish I could have snapped a picture of Lynette, but the L'ArtiChaut corner was rather crowded and I had to run off.

This is where I confess that I have been living under a rock all this while and failed to notice that L'ArtiChaut brings in Tatty Devine pieces. All the time I have wasted staring longingly at the Tatty Devine website! I immediately pounced on the opportunity to get my hands on the Bee Wing brooch and a Vice&Vanity piece but am now, to quote Fashion is Spinach, suffering from non-buyer's remorse for not getting the Alex + Chloe Antler necklace. Sigh.

Most girls on the island are in shorts these days due to the unbearably hot and humid summer we are experiencing. The usual outfit on the street consists of a wife-beater or voluminous top paired with shorts. Hence, it was rather refreshing to see Min in her blouse with its double collars and quirky prints. We also had a great discussion on how TCP tends to showcase people with "tame" poses. Hmm, I wonder...
