Due to the nature of my work, I am unable to carry my camera around with ease. So you can imagine my glee over my decision to take my camera out today with me when I chanced upon this lady and her tot. Click on the photos to have a better view of the details of the pair's outfits!

I hope the little one (13 months old!) grows up to be as delightfully quirky as her mom.

"I just happen to be passing by."

Ronin was performing for the last time with Levan as their vocalist at *Scape where I spotted Cheryl in a bright pop of colour. Her outfit brings to mind, "Milk Maid Meets Rave". I wish I could have asked her more questions, but having to out-scream Levan is no easy feat.




It was amusing to discover that there was a Girl Guides' Carnival being held just next to where Ronin was performing. A quick tour of the carnival led to an encounter with this very shy lady. Her outfit might appear simple, but I liked how she played with shape and fit of her pieces. (Her skirt had a lot more volume than shown in the above photo, like a rectangular bubble-skirt of sorts.)

"I am a lecturer. Making accessories is a part-time thing for me. I collect bread tabs because I think they are rather pretty. One day, I just thought I could make earrings out of them. Initially, I tried using an eyelet machine to punch through the tabs, but the holes were too big. Recently, I finally found a machine that allowed me to punch smaller holes. The Art Market is the first market I have participated in. I might join more of such markets in the future."

I think I might have traumatised Agnes initially when I kept walking around her table to get a better look at her earrings. Talk about innovation! Her earrings were so adorable, I had to buy a pair for myself. Agnes also makes other forms of accessories such as tape brooches. You can visit her site here.
