Orchard-Road-is-Scary, SGSellTrade Flee!, 231206

Anna (21)
"I created the SGSellTrade community, but have handed it over to someone else. I think the flea market is great. It allows people to have a chance at setting up their own business without spending too much money... I grew up in Singapore, but am now residing in the States. I'm just back to visit friends and family over the holidays. As for my style, I don't know... This is how I dress up everyday."

Alicia
"I got this handbag from Ebay!"

I thought Alicia's handbag was the key factor in her outfit. I don't know about you, but accessories are vital to me. They are great for adding that special touch, that little twist in an ensemble.

post-it + RESPECT

No, we are not dead. Just extremely busy with work. That said, hopefully there will be updates this weekend, Deo volente.

**EDIT:

There has been a lot of comments on the sizes of girls recently. While there is not much moderation of comments for TCP (since the perception of beauty differs), offensive comments on the size of individuals featured will be deleted. TCP is about what real people are wearing and people come in a variety of shapes and sizes, in case you have not noticed.

Grow up.

The Woman with a Thousand Faces, Orchard, 031206

Pei Ying (20)
"I got this jacket from Taiwan. The label can be found in Singapore too, but for some reason, certain designs are not available here. The jacket I am wearing can't be found here. I guess it might be due to the weather?"

In case, you were wondering, the label in question is Brosas. I spotted Pei Ying in a department that shall not be named. Although, if you squint, you might figure out where I found and photographed the dear girl. I think the sale assistants were rather traumatised by us.

Tiong Bahru, 241106

Elaine, Azlinda, Haslindah & Rozita

Azlinda: "Where are we heading off to? To our prom night! I built my outfit around my shoes, which I am wearing because my feet hurts."

Haslindah: "I just felt lady-like so I wore a lady-like dress."

Two true stories behind this post. One, the first thing I noticed about the group was Azlinda's hair-do and not the polka-dot theme they had going on. Two, the group initially refused to allow me to finish my sentences and kept trying to walk away as they thought I was a sales person trying to sell them things they do not need (I was in work clothes). The only way I could get them to listen to me was to talk faster than them. The whole inccident was funny on hindsight.

I suspect that for street photography, being able to talk fast is definitely an advantage.

Fine City

The laptop is finally back and hopefully, will stay put. Otherwise, for those interested in knowing fashion events/sales, Fashion is Spinach has kindly listed them out. I'd just like to add that there would be not one but two SGSellTrade fleas held at the Gas House this December on the 16th and 23rd.

For those more interested in the Singapore Art scene, the National Museum of Singapore's Opening Festival (2-31st December) is something to look forward to. Music lovers, you might want to hop down to the Singapore Science Centre for the Indie Garden event on 2nd December.

Experiment! Go out! Have fun!
